The ASRG conducts training courses for the benefit of the wider Australian marine industry sectors including an internationally-recognised Dockmaster Course, comprehensive and refresher.

The course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and is recognised by the Royal Australian Navy, US Navy, Royal New Zealand Navy, Royal Navy etc, plus UAE Coast Guard, insurance companies and other professional entities.

The current round of ASRG Dockmaster Courses have been conducted in Osborne SA, Cairns QLD, Sydney NSW, Darwin NT and Henderson WA.  Planning for future courses is ongoing for returns to these and other regions.
